Porcelain Veneers

Unlike crowns that cover the entire tooth, porcelain veneers are thin ceramic shells that are permanently bonded to teeth to create a healthy and natural look.  They are commonly used to close gaps and eliminate unwanted imperfections such as stains, chips, and misshapen teeth.  Custom crafted specifically for you using the highest quality materials, porcelain veneers from Dr. Petkevis will give you a smile you can be proud of for years to come.

Consultation and proper planning with each patient is critical to understanding aesthetic goals, and helps determine the type and style of porcelain veneers needed for each individual case.  Dr. Petkevis will take the time to examine your smile and discuss your expectations, ensuring the end result is a natural looking and comfortable smile you are happy with.

Porcelain veneers require three visits to Dr. Petkevis’ office to design, create, and place.  After removing a small amount of enamel from each tooth receiving a porcelain veneer and taking an impression of the smile, you will be fitted with temporary teeth veneers while your final restorations are being created.  In approximately 2-3 weeks, your new porcelain veneers will be ready to be permanently affixed to your teeth.  After you approve the color of the veneers, Dr. Petkevis will clean your teeth before applying bonding cement that reacts with special curing light to ensure a secure, permanent fit to your teeth.

With proper care and maintenance, your new porcelain veneers will last for years to come.  Contact the office of Dr. Petkevis today to schedule a preliminary consultation to find out how porcelain veneers can enhance your smile.
